How do I connect a destination?

After connecting your bank, choose a destination and sign in via OAuth. For Google Sheets, you'll pick a spreadsheet and sheet. For You Need a Budget, you'll select a plan and account. Column headers are created automatically on your first sync.

What data fields are synced?

Each transaction includes 12 fields: Transaction ID, Date, Description, Amount, Direction, Balance, Category, Merchant, Account, Status, Class, and Post Date. Headers are created automatically.

Can I sync multiple bank accounts to one destination?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each bank account syncs separately to the same or different destinations. You can have multiple accounts feeding into one spreadsheet, or split them across different sheets.

Do you store my bank data?

No. Redbark uses a pass-through architecture — your transactions flow directly from your bank to your chosen destination. We store consent records, encrypted tokens, and minimal account metadata (institution, account name, masked number) so the app works. We never store transaction amounts, descriptions, merchants, or balances.

How do you access my destination account?

We use OAuth 2.0 — the industry standard for secure authorisation. You sign in directly with your destination provider and grant specific permissions. We never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time.

Are my credentials stored securely?

All OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with unique random IVs per encryption. Tokens are refreshed automatically and re-encrypted immediately.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Your syncs will continue until the end of your current billing period, and your data stays in your destinations.
